The Department of Education has again organized this school year the Municipal School Program Parents at its thirty-first edition.
As in previous years, the Department has prepared a closing ceremony on Thursday, June 5, from 18.00, in the Naval Museum, where 31 participants AMPAS will enjoy a guided tour of this landmark city ​​hosting the Submarine Peral.
The event will be chaired by the Councillor for Education, Joseph Marotta, and at the same, attended by representatives of the Association of Parents of students participating in the program, as well as be invited representatives Fapa, Concapa and Fampace.
In the course of it, proceed to the presentation of certificates to the participants AMPAS, by the Councillor for Education, which highlighted the work of the associations, which, throughout this school year, have conducted 115 training sessions between lectures, seminars and workshops, which have aimed to encourage and enrich the education of their parents.
The School Program Parents, AMPAS function enables self-managed way, so each Association endorsed the program performs its educational project based on their interests.

The Department of Education offer the program for providing technical advice and providing economic development grant for such projects.
Upon completion of their training projects, the AMPAS submit reports thereof, as well as the justifications for the grant received equivalent to expenses incurred.
