The training course for the care of people suffering from Alzheimer's disease, bedridden or in a dependent situation put the finishing touch on Wednesday with the presentation of certificates to the twenty students who participated.
It is one of the training activities that make up the agenda of this year's Department of Women.
With these classes the students learned through several specialists in the field the keys to care for a sick of these features as well as the keys to learning to reconcile this ordeal for the families involved.
Besides washing, dressing and feeding the sick, these women discovered in these sessions that their care is more than this.
And according to the psychologists themselves who were responsible for teaching the classes, the patient must receive love both assist him as their loved one.
Another key that was developed in this course is the treatment of this disease, of currently incurable. Though it can not be eradicated, yes it is possible to prevent that develops faster. Other factors they have to take into account the loved ones is medication and non-drug therapies such as rehabilitation.
Upon delivery of diplomas this morning attended the Councillor for Women, Clara Hall, who claimed at the opening of these classes that the course focuses on this particular field because now the future is specialization.
