The unemployment figures last May shed new historical decline in Cartagena with a decline of 2.19 percent which means that 493 people have left the list of unemployed to enter the labor market.
When compared with May 2013, the data is much more positive with 1,952 fewer unemployed and 8 percent of decline.
The Councillor of Greater Jobs, Joaquín Segado, said that this is the best data since 2005 confirming the downward trend in unemployment started to earlier this year.
Mowing has valued the decline in unemployment among those under 25 years 27.3 percent of people who found a job during the month of May in the town they are young, the best figure since 2008.
The council considers that although employment remains much to do the data tell us that has gone around the net of unemployment and job creation is becoming a reality.
