The International Film Festival of Cartagena (FICC) opens the registration period of short films to participate in the 43rd edition of the festival.
A committee will select the best short to issue them during the week of the event (to be held from 7 to 13 December), and these audiovisual be entering the competition.
The requirements to participate can be downloaded from the website of the FICC (www.ficc.es).
The deadline for submission of short ends on September 5.
The two modes in which participants can enroll are Official Short Film Section, for both domestic and foreign filmmakers, and MURcine, in which only perpetrators of Murcia allowed.
As for the awards section of the best short films will receive 3,000 euros.
There will also be recognition for best direction, cinematography and screenplay.
On the other hand, in the MURcine section, the first Silver award Caravel City of Cartagena is 1,500 euros, while the second, the Peral Submarine, will be 500 euros.
