Winning students Ecolimpia drawing contest, organized, for four years, the Department of Education and the Environment FCC company with schools in the municipality, have received their awards at a ceremony held Wednesday in Room Ceremonies of the Town Hall, presided over by the mayor of Education, Joseph Marotta, and the production manager of FCC, Fernando de Mateo.
The winning drawing was the titled Daisy and ecological washing Henarejos Carmen Bravo, student of St. Joaquina olegio c Vedruna, which has won the first prize, a tablet for her and one for her school.
The second prize, a bicycle, has been for the student of the Mare Nostrum, Wen Wen Yang Chen, and third prize was awarded to him Alejandro Pardo school Jiménez San Cristóbal, which has won an MP5.
In addition there are seven finalists drawings, whose authors have been issued with a Certificate of Participation, as the five centers that have submitted their drawings, which are Poet Antonio Oliver, San Cristobal, Santa Joaquina de Vedruna, Mare Nostrum and San Fulgencio, namely a total of 115 films made ​​by students of 5th and 6th Primary.
The topic that should draw your blade has been Ecolimpia, how can we maintain our clean environment, thereby treating the students imagine and reflected to the drawing, what is your thought on this important issue in our city.
And the purpose of this contest, as explained Fernando de Mateo, is in town to promote a range of healthy habits, raising awareness about the importance of recycling and keeping the city clean, which will benefit for society and increased effectiveness of services provided to citizens.
Meanwhile, the mayor of Education, Joseph Marotta hopes that next year collaboration between the City and keeps FCC because, over time, teaching the care and cleaning of the city from the schools, this will be a significant savings for the city.
