Cartagena hosts this Thursday and Friday, 29 and 30 May, the first scientific symposium on opiates organized by the scientific society Socidrogalcohol (Spanish Scientific Society of Studies on Alcohol, Alcohol and Drug Addiction).
The conference opens on Thursday at 9.30 am, with the assistance of Councillor of Social Services of the City of Cartagena, Antonio Calderon, in the living levels of the Higher Technical School of Industrial Engineers UPCT (Old Naval Hospital ).
Titled Overdose, is there a new hero? Epidemic, Dr. Josep Guardia Serecigni, psychiatrist and member of the Board of Socidrogalcohol, will address the role of opioid overdoses.
