The poster of the XXV Anniversary of the Festival of Carthaginians and Romans of 2014 is the work of Fernando José Pérez Zamora (Cartagena, 1989) who studied graphic design at the School of Design of the region of Murcia, pursuing a year of studies at the ESA Saint-Luc de Liège (Belgium).
During his student his work appeared in national and international design publications such as Select or Selected Europe and Spain since 2012, is incorporated as a designer in the Madrid office of the international branding consultancy Lambie-Nairn.
Under the slogan "A History of Film", was chosen among the 42 works presented in competition by the jury of experts, representatives of Federation and the popular vote on the website of the Festival, which was the most voted proposal with the 35% of the total votes of the general public.
The panel of experts consisted of painters and cartoonists and Joaquín García Alcaraz Rogelio (Rogelio and Joaquin);
Aquilino Javier Sanchez, manager of the company Brande Communication design and advertising sector;
and Dr. Eva Tomaseti Solano, associate professor at the Faculty of Business UPCT.
Using tones that convey the warmth of our Party, the winner said that the concept of the poster conveys the importance of the history of Cartagena is well worth arriving at a film production using a warrior willing to fight, which is part of Roman Theatre, one of the most important national and international benchmarks of archeology in our city.
Sources of the competition organizers have expressed their satisfaction with the quality of the papers, with more than half of the posters to competition from other cities (Madrid, A Coruña, Zaragoza, Granada, Cádiz, Huesca, Salamanca, Castellón, Alicante, Elche, La Rioja, Guadalajara, Palencia, Navarre and Gijón) and the participation of the general public who issued 900 votes in the web of the Festival.
As in past editions, the 8 finalists soon posters will be displayed in a museum in our city for the public to appreciate the work done by the various contestants.
