Both institutions have Monday signed an agreement by which foreign students come to Cartagena will have discounts on their Spanish language classes and, in return, will present the work of the foundation in their home countries
Cartagena Foundation for Teaching Spanish Language and Culture (Funcarele) and the Rotary Club Cartagena Teatro Romano have signed an agreement to young foreigners who come each year to study at the city through the exchange program Club said, they can learn Spanish through classes and parallel activities offered by the Foundation, for which will have special prices, and in return, students may make known Funcarele through their channels in their places of origin.
Young people involved in the Youth Exchange Program of Rotary Club come mostly from the United States, Ireland and England, as well as the rest of Europe, and his stay here may be a year, a school year or a period of short duration of one month in summer.
The agreement has been borne by the Councillor for Culture and president of Funcarele, Rosario Montero, and the president of Rotary Club Teatro Romano Cartagena, Bartholomew Rivers, an act which was held at the headquarters of the Foundation, located in the Palacio Molina.
For Montero, this initiative a new way to capture language tourism, while we spread our culture and our language opens.
