The Polytechnic University of Cartagena is located on the seventh group list of most productive Spanish universities prepared by the BBVA Foundation and released this week.
In terms weighted by number of researchers, Pust is the fifteenth most productive university in Spain.
The U-Ranking teaching indicators measured as the ratio of doctors, the success rate, the percentage of graduate students or the presence of foreign students.
In this section, UPCT is in the fifth group of universities that provide education better.
It also evaluates research indicators such as production thesis, the impact of publications or international projects.
Cartagena Polytechnic falls in sixth place in the ranking, tied with other universities.
As for innovation and technological development, the second edition of the BBVA Foundation ranking reflects a marked improvement UPCT indicators.
Other rankings of universities, as prepared by the University of Granada, place the UPCT research among the best in the country.
As an example, the Polytechnic is the fourth in obtaining competitive research grants awarded by the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports, the tenth-ranking international publications and eleventh in terms of patent registration.
Overall research UPCT is positioned as the eighteenth best of Spain, according to this list.
"We are still in the top 20 in a well-established and recognized nationally representative parameters and indicators of research activity ranking," says Pablo Fernández, Vice Chancellor for Research.
Also recently published the ranking of universities in the newspaper El Mundo, which is recognized to the extent of Construction Engineering and Telematics Engineering UPCT as one of the top five of Spain.
Information, which corroborates the recognition that the School of Architecture and Building Engineering and the School of Telecommunication Engineering MetaRanking received in the University of Granada, which ranked as the third and one of the top ten, respectively, schools architecture and telecommunications.
In another recently published rankings, the Multirank, Cartagena Polytechnic is located at intermediate positions between the 45 universities assessed, with a view similar to University of Murcia assessment and well above the result obtained by the private universities.
