Team UPCT Solar Team, which has now begun to compete in the international energy efficiency test Shell Eco-marathon, held in Rotterdam, has been selected to represent the set of twelve Spanish teams participating.

The Shell Eco-marathon is an international competition in which teams from universities around the world develop prototype solar vehicles.
The aim is to DEVELOP the vehicle with the best performance in meters traveled per kilowatt hour consumed.
Antonio Guerrero, UPCT professor who coordinates the team that stands the test these days is celebrated in Holland "is the most important races in Europe in energy efficiency" and this year, for the first time, the Polytechnic University of Cartagena has made it to compete with the best in the world.
In fact, in a previous test in Cheste last month, the UPCT Solar Team placed fifth.
The UPCT Solar Team is now undergoing technical inspections.
Juan Gabriel Faxas, team leader UPCT ensures that the vehicle Polytechnic "is very competitive, we can do well."
His deputy, Luis Oliver, notes that the other teams "are very preprados. Competing with them is a unique educational opportunity."
