These days it is proceeding in the e xplanada Heroes of Cavite in the Port of Cartagena, the assembly of the tent that will house the exhibition Romanorum Vita, a history of Rome.
This is an innovative exhibition organized by the Social Work
la Caixa, in collaboration with the Port Authority and the city of Cartagena, where a Roman city where visitors can immerse themselves in the daily life of the Roman world is recreated.
It will be invited to walk through a town rebuilt from literary descriptions and archeological evidence of 2,000 years to discover that the Romans are not so far from us.
This will move the visitor a Roman city shortly before the destruction of Pompeii in 79 AD, during the imperial era.
The exhibition will show the streets of the city on any given day: business, importance of water, odors, popular forms of expression and religion, among others;
boiling everything about the big stages of the senate, the forum, the theater and the circus.
The exhibition will be free from May 26 to July 1.
