The mayor of Cartagena, Pilar Barreiro, signed in Madrid, with the president of the Association of Victims of Terrorism (AVT), Maria Angeles Pedraza, the collaboration agreement that keeps the City Council with this organization since 2008.
Pilar Barreiro noted that the agreement renews municipal support to the victims of terrorist violence and is an aid to keep the coverage they receive from the association.
The mayor has especially highlighted the work of AVT in the hardest moments of our democracy when cruel and unjustifiable attacks occurred.
The agreement was reached during a visit of the Mayor of Cartagena at the headquarters of the AVT in Madrid where the president M ª Angeles Pedraza thanked the cooperation of the City that will keep direct intervention programs for victims driven Association.
The amount of the agreement, is 9,000 euros, which is assigned to projects of direct care for victims and their families, aid conferences and associations.
