The monitoring committee employability programs developed in Cartagena Rascasa and Huertecica, met today to assess the development of the program, with the collaboration of the Autonomous Community, through the Instituto Murciano Social Action (IMAS) Regional Employment Service, the Service Center Drug Dependence and the city of Cartagena, through the Department of Social Services.

This program is aimed at the social and vocational integration and improving the employability of people at risk of social exclusion or special difficulties.

In 2013 participated in the programs of The Huertecica and Rascasa in Cartagena a total of 200 people. An example of the activities were workshops held in La Huertecica in groups lasting approximately 3 months, about literacy, active search employment interviews and selection processes, equal opportunity workshops, preparation for job interviews, conducting curriculum, information technology, acquisition and development of work habits, social skills for employment, etc..

INTEGRATION BY THE "SOCIAL N

Since 2007, IMAS, with 80% funding from the European Social Fund announces grants to nonprofit institutions to develop programs for the social integration and improving the employability of people at risk of social exclusion or with special difficulties.

The IMAS receives requests from institutions of our region and are referred to the Department of Social Services of the municipalities for study, evaluation, proposal or amendment, issuing the report.

During the program development committee for coordination and monitoring in order to assess their performance and improve coordination take place.
