The Association of Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome Cartagena and Shire, AFIBROCAR, held on Monday, May 12, the World Day of the disease and does so with a number of activities to raise awareness of this condition.

Patients suffering from Fibromyalgia or Chronic Fatigue Syndrome undergo a process of chronic, widespread musculoskeletal character and usually paralyze or alter the rhythm of life of the patient pain.
Those who suffer from these diseases, although apparently have a good physical appearance, often experience severe pain, fatigue and a feeling of discomfort that is usually accompanied by low or very low mood.
It is a barrier to the patient as they are obstacles to developing daily routine tasks such as making a full working day or do housework.
AFIBROCAR is a non-profit organization working since 2003 in Cartagena for the overall health of those suffering from these diseases.
It is currently made up of both sick people, family members, partners and supporters.
One of the goals of this group, in addition to help and unite the sick, is to present this disease still remains unknown to a large part of society.
