The Faculty of Business today Tuesday received eight Russian students, ages 14 and 16, who arrived this morning to Cartagena for a crash course in English and Spanish.
It is one of the common activities performed each year in the program Funcarele (Cartagena Foundation for Teaching Spanish Language and Culture).
This time, it was the result of the collaboration with the Association of Kaliningrad for Continuing Education.
At the welcoming ceremony attending the president of the Foundation, Rosario Montero, and responsible for International Relations UPCT, Beatriz Marín.
For two weeks, these students will stay with families cartageneras to see first hand the culture of our country and further refine the language.
The course will be taught classes in the facilities of the Faculty of Business of the Polytechnic University.
In addition to classes, this group of teens will have the opportunity to discover the treasures of Cartagena.
Thus, during off hours, you can visit some of the museums available to the city as the Roman Theatre, the Archaeological ARQUA.
They will also enjoy various leisure activities, both sporting and other leisure.
