Creating Nets draft association that develops for the second consecutive year CEPAIM Foundation in our city, in collaboration with the City of Cartagena through the Department of Social Services, on Saturday held its second meeting of 2014, meeting at which involving eleven five directors associations formed by migrants, such as Akwaaba Union in Cartagena Ghanaians, Malians Cartagena in Murcia residents Paraguayans, Our Lady of Chilla (Ecuador) and Tupac Jatari of Spain (Ecuador).
Internal promotion and strengthening of collective display of diversity in the town, and outreach and connection with the local associations: Through this project Three axes of action are developed.
Work in the morning session focused on the importance of planning in associational activity as a means to fulfill the objectives, both at each group and in relation to the functioning of the group.
Subsequently, in order to meet the objectives defined in the session of March, were identified and scheduled activities to be undertaken during the year.
Similarly, participants were presented the main priorities of the project Diversity and Integration in the Local Economy (DELI), innovative performance that is funded Council of Europe and the City of Cartagena part from earlier this year , along with nine other cities in the European Union.
The project aims to support and advice for the establishment and operation of companies and among its actions, is the creation of local collaboration platforms that incorporate the different actors of the municipality in the area of business and diversity.
In the afternoon session the items partnerships developed for the June edition of the magazine addressed Immigrant Voices.
Finally participants were emplaced collectives for the next project activity, a training in which content related to the design, implementation and evaluation of action work.
