Participants in the initiative last Saturday organized this Association roamed some attractions of St. Lucia, Los Mateos, Santiago and I Campano.

This route also enjoyed the views from the landscape of the area

Hundreds of people do not want to miss last Saturday with Rascasa Anda!, I march through the neighborhoods that organized the Association for Los Mateos, Santa Lucia, Santiago and I Campano.

The City also collaborated in this initiative, along with a group of cultural and social groups in these neighborhoods, and whose aim was to publicize the attractions that this corner of Cartagena and surroundings.

And they did.

Participants began early in the morning, about 9.30 am, trail from local Rascasa, located in Los Mateos, next to the school Hannibal.

Minutes before the hundreds of people attending their dorsal collected, as well as the mayor of Social Care, Antonio Calderon and President of the Association, Encarnación Aguirre.

After the starting signal, participants would walk walking different neighborhoods po r Molineta, the Moorish Castle, the Living Theatre Casa del Pescador, St. James the dock, the Museum of Glass and the Barranco de Orfeo, or better known as the Ugly.

On the lunch, attendees returned to local Rascasa to enjoy a paella that had cooked the local residents.

With this march is to raise awareness of the great work performed Rascasa on integration in those sectors of the population most in need, assured the mayor Antonio Calderon during the presentation of activity last week, adding that it is an opportunity to walk Cartagena together for these neighborhoods.

For his part, the president of Rascasa emphasized the coordination of all social organizations and cultures that have launched this initiative. It's a good way for the rest of Cartagena discover the treasures that hide these neighborhoods and its people, who strives every day to get by, clarified.

For five euros, adults, and three, small, participants enjoyed a day touring some healthy places unknown to many.

Besides the views, no time for laughter, share experiences and take snapshots.

And the organization has also organized a photo contest to capture some images of this route. Papers can be submitted until 5 May at the premises of the Association.
