On Monday April 28 will begin the work of widening of a stretch of Avenue Portús.
As reported by the Bureau of Traffic of the local police, it is a stretch of about a hundred yards long, between park access and facilities Tentegorra Ambulance Martinez.
The works will force cut traffic on this stretch for about two weeks.
To make way for buses and ambulances, the local police has enabled an input and output Naranjo Street toward Avenue Canal.
For all other vehicles is recommended to access the area through bridge Fausto Quarries.
The widening of this stretch was a long-standing demand of the residents of the area as it is dangerous for pedestrians and vehicular traffic, and is compounded by the usual transit buses.
Construction will begin by the removal of trees that marks the road and continue the occupation of 800 square meters that the City has acquired to enable two lanes, as in the rest of the avenue.
