Representatives from several municipalities in Murcia met today at the Palace Hall with the mayor and council of Social Care, for the operation of this new computer program that already has 2,500 users in the port city
The Town Hall Friday has become a meeting point of councilors and representatives of other municipalities in the region of Murcia today visited the city for the operation of the Shared Integrated Care Network, a pioneering initiative in the region, launched the City of Cartagena last February and has attracted interest from other administrations.
The meeting, which has been hosted by the Mayor, Pilar Barreiro, and the Councillor for Social Care, Antonio Calderon, visited members of the Social Affairs Committee of the Regional Assembly and mayors of several municipalities, among which were the Puerto Lumbreras, Torre Pacheo, Fuente Alamo, Los Alcazares and San Javier.
The idea is that this model, which is proving successful in Cartagena, known in other municipalities so they can launch and better manage public funds.
Comprehensive Care Network Shared (RAIC) is a computer program that different social action organizations can exchange information in order to aid and resources reach the people who need them, avoiding duplication and increasing efficiency.
The mayor impacted on this point, the goal is not to duplicate efforts, provide comprehensive care after studying each individual case and associations who are engaged in this to participate in this project and collaboration to help people so they can get ahead.
In Cartagena, the RAIC is developed in collaboration with eleven organizations have benefited from this service over 2,500 users.
