A total of 21 schools participating in this year's second edition of the Municipal League Athletics Intercentros organized by the Sports Department within the ADE Program (Approach to Sport à ‰ lite) and Elcano Athletics club.
The qualifiers will be held next week, on 28,29 and 30 April, and the final on May 6.
Nearly five hundred children of the county, born in the years 2002-03, brings together these days in this competition which houses the Municipal Athletic Track.
The top 8 advance to the final centers in the male and female categories.
The objective of this activity is to bring the sport of athletics to the kids, while promoting this discipline from the base to the young athlete.
The schools involved are:
Group A: Virgen del Carmen, La Asomada, Stella Maris, San Felix, San vicente Paul Cuatro Santos, Feliciano Sanchez Group B:. Salesians, Franciscans, Vicente Ros, San Cristobal, Luis Calandre, Marist, Concepción Arenal Group C:. Beethoven , Gabriela Mistral, Narwhal, San Antonio Abad, Mare Nostrum, Sta Florentina (La Palma), Adorers.
The Municipal League Athletics has the support of the Athletics Federation of Murcia and Cartagena UCAM club.
This activity is part of the School Sports Programme developed by the Department of Sports City of Cartagena in collaboration with the Department of Physical Education and Sport of the Autonomous Community.
