The European Youth in Action Programme came to Cartagena on Sunday at the hands of 36 kids of different nationalities to live this week at the Intercultural Center of the municipality, that of Dolores and the Old Town.
Young, Hungary, Germany and Spain, use their stay to explore the city, enjoy the outdoors with hiking trails and exchange experiences with social awareness talks.
Imagine, a path to our own image is the motto of this initiative is coordinated by the Department of Youth and Social Care. This project promotes intercultural coexistence and at the same time, helps them to approach to different cultural realities explained during the presentation a few weeks ago the mayor of Social Care, Antonio Calderon.

The young participants have had time to develop various workshops hostel facilities.
Even on Tuesday, following the schedule of the camp, and within a day dedicated to the environment, I made ​​a hiking trail in the area of Escarihuelas and El Portus.
Today, Holy Wednesday, visit the mines of La Union and will travel to Park Tentegorra, focusing on the day's activities on gender equality.
This Friday, the day dedicated to Europe, addressed various workshops on the old continent and in the afternoon visit the city center, watching Marraja procession.
Saturday sport takes center stage with the practice of canoeing and various sports games and matches, while on Sunday, the last day of the youth exchange, there will be a final reflection workshop with everything developed.
