The Roman Theatre organizes a summer course on the classical heritage (15/04/2014)

The Roman Theatre Museum has organized in collaboration with the Polytechnic University of Cartagena (UPCT) a course on the classical heritage as tangible and intangible heritage. This course aims to deepen the relationship that each site maintains its history and how it has affected in the conservation and enhancement of its archaeological heritage, but also analyze how the heritage of the classical world has served as a stimulus to its inhabitants, who are proud of that historic past and its protagonists;

Greeks, Iberians, Carthaginians and Romans.

So during several examples of cities with Greco-Roman past and the trace from your local society has left, making a tour of various scenarios and enclaves of Mediterranean geography, Ampurias from the Greek, the Roman Tarraco is presented or the Cartagena Punic places has emerged in recent decades a great interest in Classical Culture, by historical recreations, by the knowledge and dissemination of the ancient world, either through scientific, educational or recreational projects all contribute certainly the cultural development of society.
