Councillor for Culture received this morning the young, from the Queens College London, Funcarele hand, made a crash course in the city, which also draw your stay to learn about the Holy Week
This morning, the Councillor for Culture, Rosario Montero, has welcomed a group of 13 English students who, accompanied by two teachers, from the prestigious Queens College London, have come to Cartagena to study intensive Spanish course in Foundation of Cartagena Spanish Language and Culture (Funcarele) and, incidentally, enjoy Easter.
As it is usual in these group trips, consist of an immersion program in Spanish language and culture with one week stay in Cartagena families, intensive Spanish course 4 hours daily and cultural activities.
In the same group will also involve two Russian students from the city of Kaliningrad, signed a collaboration with the Association for Continuing Education of this city.
Welcome these students was held in the Auditorium of the Roman Theatre in Cartagena. Councillor, Rosario Montero explained that the students have come to reinforce the knowledge of Spanish who have started in their country.
It's the first time we are in Cartagena but are already thinking about repeating, and that gives the idea of foster care who have both by the Funcarele foundation and the families and the city itself. Gone are delighted and believe it deserves the going back to continue learning Spanish in a place they liked a lot, Montero has been completed.
One of the teachers accompanying the thirteen English students commented that she is very happy to be back in Cartagena and thanked the townspeople good stay and would definitely return.
