IMSEL staff working for days on cleaning and installation services throughout the coast of Cartagena, during the upcoming holidays will be ready to receive visitors who arrive with the start of the high season
Good weather and holidays of Easter, predict a large number of visitors to the beaches of the coast of Cartagena, hence municipal brigades Municipal Institute of Coastal Services (IMSEL) are working overtime to get everything ready and to enjoy one of our main attractions from Good Friday.
About 50 people are carrying out cleaning and finalizing the installation of services on the beaches of the Mar Menor, La Manga and Isla Plana - The Azohía.
Specifically, we are taking accumulated algae in the Levante beach in Cabo Palos, Los Nietos and south of the breakwater pier The Azohía, regenerating sand, herbs and installing footbaths quietando gateways and access to beaches.
Also removed mud at the Los Urrutias and Punta Brava.
Throughout Holy Week, and considered high season, crews will continue to work in the beach areas, although in routine maintenance, which is then reinforced for the summer.
