The marathon telecommunications Teleco LAN Party rewards the winner of the hackathon, algorithmic programming competition, with work experience five months in the company Moelia.
"The award can become a job because the company is expanding and offers the possibility of incorporation after the period finished enjoyment of the prize," says Ignacio Cifuentes representing students at the Higher Technical School of Telecommunications Engineering Polytechnic University of Cartagena (UPCT).
Moelia is a multinational company dedicated to the development of business and information technology and communications, located in the Parque Tecnológico de Fuente Álamo.
Hackathon participants compete for twelve hours straight.
Youth who wish to participate must be college students and have prior programming knowledge.
The organizers will provide all participants the definition of messages and communication protocol in Java, but may compete in any language.
This competition will take place on Friday, April 11, from 10:00 to 22:00 pm in the School of Teleco.
