Several volunteers from IMPLICA2 Programme and the European Voluntary Service of the Youth in Action program managed by the Youth Area Youth Council are actively working this week with the Department of Environment and Hidrogea in Paperless Billing campaign.
Yesterday, Tuesday, volunteers helped reforest the Park Explorers in Santa Ana Industrial Park, many boys and girls in the last year of primary school and so will Miralmonte next Friday with students in the same cycle Narwhal College .
Contributors explain where the kids have to plant, how they have to make the hole, how they have to put up the roots so that the plants can grow under optimum conditions and how you have to condition the soil around. Also verify that all these activities are performed with sufficient care so that nobody can be injured.
For every customer that you enable paperless billing, a tree is planted.
This is intended to encourage saving role and contribute to the sustainability of the municipality.
The choice of this location, the Park Explorers of Murcia, is justified by the lateness of the season, forcing you to choose a space with possibility of drip irrigation, to ensure the survival of plants.
All these specimens were acquired within Fundown Plant nurseries, a special employment center for people with intellectual disabilities, promoting employment and integration of immigrants into society.
The Programme aims to continue working IMPLICA2 in nearby reforestation that will be happening in terms of increase in customers who avail Hidrogea to Paperless Billing campaign.
