The Implica2 Youth Space Program the Youth Council, in collaboration with the Regional School of Leisure Directorate General of Youth of the Autonomous Community, the Polytechnic University of Cartagena, the School of Leisure Maraqua and environmental volunteer group A nthemis Natura organizes a free course on child and youth awareness through play, by conservation of Tallante Garbancillo.
This project will have a total duration of 26 hours, to be held
5 sessions on Mondays and Wednesdays from 28 April to 12 May from 16:30 h to 20:30 h.
In addition there will be a teaching from the natural environment on Saturday May 3 from 8:30 h to 14:30 h.
This training is part of the European Life + Biodiversity program, aimed at the conservation of potential habitat in the Region of Murcia, the Garbancillo Tallante, exclusive endemism of Campo de Cartagena listed as critically endangered by the International Union of Nature.
As part of this project is to provide leadership to the youth of the county, forming groups of volunteers who actively participate in their conservation, and performing tasks of information and awareness continuous in time.
The objectives of this course are: meet the requirements you have to have some kind in order to realize the degree of threat and protection measures, meet some of the species of protected flora and fauna of the municipality of Cartagena, observe and identify wildlife in the natural environment and, above all, use different strategies for raising children / and youth in the care of the environment.
The content that integrates this work are: Life + Project for conservation of Tallante garbancillo; protected flora and fauna, environmental education, active methodologies, techniques and dynamic environmental education and use of games and activities.
