The Rector of the Polytechnic University of Cartagena (UPCT), Jose Antonio Franco, met Wednesday with Mayor of Yecla, Ortuño Marcos, to open new avenues of collaboration with the municipality of the region of the Altiplano.
Franco has encouraged young people to enroll in yeclanos UPCT.
"Studying in Cartagena Polytechnic adds value relative to other universities outside the region of Murcia, as it increases the chances of finding a job in the region, due to the relationship we have with the productive fabric of the Community Autonomous "says Rector.
Mayor Franco has expressed its intention to open new avenues of cooperation and closer ties with the City to achieve greater collaboration with business Yecla.
The UPCT collaborates with the Furniture Technology Centre and with different companies in the municipality through collaborative projects I + D + i.
Through these projects, students have the opportunity UPCT internships and find employment in different companies.
