The winners of the first edition of the National Competition Saetas already have names and surnames.
Last Saturday the Church of Santa María de Gracia hosted the final of this event in which John Farina, Huelva, was done with the trophy after competitive.
The Association of Portapasos of the Blessed Virgin of Mercy organized this event, with the collaboration of the Department of Culture, and the 50th anniversary of the Coronation of the Virgin.
Hundreds of faithful from different parts of the country attended the competition to enjoy a night full of excitement and arrows fervor. Among the 17 who presented the initiative, only 5 were the lucky ones to climb the stage to compete for the top spot .
But yes, we all took an award to recognize his dedication to this art.
Pepi Blankets (Córdoba) stood at the gates so coveted trophy with a deserved second place.
Third, Miguel à ngel stayed Lara El Canario (Sevilla). Manuel Cuevas (Sevilla) won the prize for Best Young Cantaor Salvador Salas El Potro (La Union) became the Best Lyrics.
The first prize is worth 1,800 euros and a trophy, made by sculptor Fernando Sáenz Cartagena.
The second prize is $ 1,000 and a plaque.
The third prize is 700 and plate.
The Promising Young prize of 700 euros, and a Prize for Best Lyrics, dedicated to Our Lady of Mercy, 500 euros and plaque.
The House of Folklore of La Palma hosted the semifinals last February with the participation of nearly twenty contestants who put all their efforts and hope to reach the much contested final last Saturday.
