The NGO ACCEM made ​​an activity with the group over the Intercultural Center of Cartagena Old Town to celebrate the International Day Against the Elimination of Racial Discrimination. Activity was aimed at young people to experience discriminatory situations analyzing the environment in which live and the persons accompanying him, detecting potential situations of discrimination that they may face and how to react to them.
The main objective of the Cultural Centers is to create a space where different cultures interact and any discrimination either by race, sex, religion clearance.
The City of Cartagena, through the Department of Social Affairs, also r ealizará this activity next week at the Intercultural Center of Los Dolores.
ACCEM is a nongovernmental, nonprofit organization that provides care and shelter to refugees and immigrants, promotes their social and professional integration and equal rights and duties of all persons irrespective of their origin, sex, race, religion, opinion or social group.
