Sport and tourism have gone this weekend in Cartagena hand thanks to the celebration of the 1st South Head Hockey League, which was held at the municipal hall Cabezo Beaza.
Of the eight teams that participated in the sporting event, within and outside the region, five have stayed in hotels in Cartagena, which meant that about 100 people, including players and guests have stayed in the city and seized to visit key locations as part of its rich cultural heritage.
Dragons teams like Sevilla brought more than 30 people, and participating with the team and accompanying fry.
The results of this first home, which was also attended as a spectator the Councillor for Sports, Diego Ortega, were as follows:

To these must be added matches played between two small Cartagena-Sevilla (Sharks, Dragons) and Torrevieja (Hawks), to promote hockey among the smallest.
The day went with the crowd full of supporters of Sharks, especially in the afternoon.
The first match of this cartagenero team was comfortable with a 5-1 result in favor of Cartagena before the Rollertown of Granada.
The second match between Cartagena (Sharks) and AG United (team formed by the union of Granada Grizzlies teams and he guilas of Murcia), with a 3-4 result in favor of AG United, was a hotly contested game where Sharks proved their worth and good game.
All teams, as usual when they come to Cartagena, praised the track for its size and canopy characteristics and suitability of having a hotel so close to the facilities.
The final phase of the I South League will be held in Cartagena on June 14, 2014.
