The Roman Theatre Museum and Port of Cultures collaborate with educational innovation project on the cultural heritage of Carthage, to be held this Friday, with the participation of students from across the region
Under the name The Ides of March, and l Friday, March 14 will be held in Cartagena an activity that is part of a pilot innovation project on the cultural heritage of Carthage, with the collaboration of the Roman Theatre Museum and Port of Cartagena Cultures.
The objective of this project is the creation of a literary-historical and archaeological itinerary of the Roman Cartagena through reading classic texts in situ.
The activity on Friday, with the participation of 60 students of second cycle of ESO throughout the Region Culture Matters Classical and Latin, with their teachers, will begin in three specific areas, the Punic Wall, the Baths and self Teatro Romano, where after the visit, will start reading texts Polivio, Livy, Plautus, Vitruvius, Seneca and other classical authors.
They are students of IES Cañada de las Eras de Molina de Segura, IES Basilica Algezares and IES José Plans Espinardo.
Finally, the three groups will meet in the Plaza San Francisco, where students will star in an adaptation of the assassination of Caesar.
It will be about 11.15 hours.
The Ides project has been supported by the Ministry of Education and Educational Innovation Project.
