The Federation of Associations of Women of the Mediterranean (FEDAM), in collaboration with the City of Cartagena, organized the Third Conference of the Women's Association of the District of Cartagena with the name The Culture of Equality as a Model of Social Affairs.
According FEDAM, feminist movements, and more recently the men's movement for equality, are working to promote social changes that remove the pillars of the current sexist society.
The aim of this conference is to spread the message of equality as culture and paradigm of social coexistence, being a joint work between men and women that embody common goal possible and necessary: ​​the construction of a fully egalitarian society.
The event will take place on 13 March at the Ramón Alonso Luzzy Cultural Center (Assembly Hall), at 09:15 hours.
The inauguration will be borne by the Councillor for Culture, Maria del Rosario Montero, and Councillor for Women, Clara Hall, along with the president of the FEDAM, Isabel Mateo.
