The efforts anse before the Heritage Service of the City of Cartagena has allowed to confirm that the entire area is undeveloped in Monte Blanco (approx. 20,000 m2) is owned by the City of Cartagena for years, without having been raised so far no action greening the same, despite the high urban density of La Manga.
Currently, about 2/3 of the undeveloped area of ​​Mount Blanc, on its southern side, is mostly occupied by an invading species, acacia, and in some rubble and debris of various kinds points.
The City of Cartagena proceed in the coming weeks to the gradual withdrawal of acacias and accumulated waste in the area, as a prelude to the planting of native vegetation by anse from the nursery managed in Cartagena.
