With the start of Lent return each year own traditional acts of this time, as is the celebration of Ash Wednesday, organized by the Confraternity of Charity Virgin Cartageneros in Madrid with his Big Brother, Antonio Berrocal, head , to pay homage to the patron saint of Cartagena, and yesterday in the capital.

First, a Mass in the church of Santa Teresa and Santa Isabel, in the popular district of Chamberí, where the virgin is worshiped throughout the year, and following the liturgical act, which was cooficiado by the pastor of San Ginés, José Manuel Martinez, the fellowship dinner.
To attend the event, which each year come Cartagena based in Madrid, moved to the capital from the port city councilors and Isaiah Camarzana Antonio Calderon, representing the City, and the Elder Brothers of the Guilds of Christ Relief, Manuel Martinez and San Ginés de la Jara, Jose Alfonso Martinez.
