Last Monday started on site Occupational Center Quarrying Occupational Carpentry Workshop and Build Parquet organized by the Agency of Local Development and Employment.
With a duration of 200 hours, ending on May 2 and has 9 students, all unemployed people over 25 who have worked in the construction industry.
Students will receive both theoretical and practical training in carpentry techniques: slicing and exploded wood, furniture assembly, installation of paneling, and parquet flooring placement.
This workshop aims that can expand knowledge within the woodworking industry and, thus, can be easier reintegration into the workplace.
It is expected that students who completed the training satisfactorily perform work placements.
