The Auditorio El Batel will stage on May 3 the work of Petra Revenge of Carlos Arniches, one of the most relevant Spanish theater of the early twentieth century playwrights.
Arniches dominated the stagecraft and comic resources and comedies becoming agile and entertaining, seamlessly mixing tragedy and the ludicrous.
The Opera Company Ibérica has kept intact the original text of the Revenge of Petra and the sets and costumes in this comedy that mixes the picaresque, ingenuity and love.
Laughter and entertainment are fully insured with Manolo and Petra, a marriage full of problems.
Comedy in two acts, with hilarious comic situations that provoke laughter with continuous ease, ensuring fun and entertainment and in the end, despite everything, love triumphs.
Directed by José Luis Gago and White Star, features ten actors on stage, among them are names like Ruth Terán, Didier Otaola, Sonia Cruz, Natalia Jara or Gago own.
The play will be performed at the Auditorium Room A, from 21.30 hours.
