"This edition of the Teleco Lan Party will be the most spectacular of all, we're working on it since September," says Nacho Cifuentes representing students of the School of Telecommunication UPCT organized every year this gathering of lovers of computer.
And this year's event doubled its temporal extent up to 120 hours in length and features cutting-edge developments such as a high speed computer for 300 posts of Gigabite per second and a dual-band wireless network to 2.4 and 5 GHz
The Lan Party Cartagena Teleco, which was presented this morning at the Polytechnic University of Cartagena, will hold its sixth edition from 10 am on 10 at 20 am April 15 at the Barracks Antigones, home of the School Telecommunication Engineering.
Anyone over 16 interested may participate in new technologies.
The deadline to reserve one of the 300 seats will begin on March 10 and, in view of the foregoing, will soon run out.
Last year over 500 people were on the waiting list after the places covered in just 48 hours.
The inscription, which can be made through the web www.telecolanparty.org, costs 25 euros and includes spaces for sleeping and preparing food as well as a catering service for 10 euros a day.
The VI Teleco Cartagena Lan Party this year also features a complimentary technology fair where there will be a showcase of science and technology will facilitate the meeting between businesses, students and tourists visiting the city.
At the fair place augmented reality displays, demonstrations Voice + IP and 3D prints will.
In addition, visitors can try on the popular Google Glass.
There will also be a booth at the Autonomous Community where you can see the latest innovations in technology in the Region of Murcia.
In the event no shortage moments of amusement with tournaments Starcratf II, Fifa 14, Mario Kart Wii, Counter Strike, Super Smash Bros Brawl, Hearthstone, League of Legends, Pokémon Stadium II and Street Fighter IV video game.
