This is the sixth edition of the Teleco LAN Party, which will take place this year between Thursday 10 and Tuesday April 15 at the Library of Old Barracks Antigones in the School of Telecommunications Engineering.

This is an event organized by the students through the Student Office and has also collaboration with UPCT, the City and the School itself (ETSIT).

One of the new features is the Technology Fair which will be held on Saturday 12 April and involved in high profile companies to unveil the latest innovation in this sector as Google, among some of the most popular.

Digital projects undertaken by the Autonomous Community and ICT companies will be presented.

An example that the visitor can find these stands is the demonstration of augmented reality generated from a helmet which transports the user to another virtual environment.

This was explained during the presentation this morning Ignacio Cifuentes representing Telecommunication students and one of the event organizers. 300 posts are access to a powerful network of high-speed 1 Gbps for 120 hours straight, clarified this student .

In addition to the Fair, and new this year, has been organized a tournament of video game programming a small graphic and technical level and a contest of audiovisual content.

Participants will also be tested with your favorite video games in the Teleco LAN Party, as Starcraft II, FIFA, Mario Kart or League of Legends.
