On Thursday morning held a new round of course A walk through the history and traditions of our city, which organizes the largest program of the Department of Social Services of the City of Cartagena.
This time, about thirty older enjoyed a visit to the National Museum of Underwater Archaeology (ARQUA).
First received a talk by Maria de los Angeles Perez Bonet, archaeologist and curator of the museum, which explained the inner workings of cataloging, inventory and restoration of parts as well as of the work of dissemination of works currently are exposed, and their activities throughout the year.
Subsequently older visited more than two hours during the exhibition spaces of the museum, with detailed explanations, including the work done to recover the treasure of The Mercedes.
