On 4th and 5th March, Tuesday and Wednesday, the author of children's literature Manuel L. Alonso will be in Cartagena to talk with students in grades 5 and 6 primary, about his book The adventurers.
The author will visit the Parish Library Cultural Center Luzzy Ramón Alonso and Rafael Rubio de Los Dolores.
On Tuesday March 4 will be at the Cultural Center, from 9:30, where he departirá with the students of Marist schools, The Conception, The Trough, Fernando Garrido, La Puebla, Carthago.
On Wednesday, March 5 Rafael Rubio visit the Library from 9:30 to meet the students and school pupils Sacred Heart, St. Christopher, Our Lady of Sorrows and Azorin.
Manuel L. Alonso (Zaragoza, 1948) has lived in different towns and cities, mostly waterfront and travel have always been one of his favorite hobbies.
Self-taught, he has held many offices (in charge of a library, executive, journalist, film critic and theater?) Until 1979 chose to devote himself exclusively to literature.
Since then, it has grown into one of the authors of children's literature most relevant to our country.
He has won several awards, including the Altea Award in 1989, Jaén Prize in 1995, the Ala Delta Prize in 2005, and was awarded the second prize in the XXIX edition of the Narrative Competition Children Vila d ¿Ibi 2010 with book First snow last sun.
