Half a dozen students UPCT received this morning diplomas accrediting them as recipients of scholarships awarded by the Santander Foundation to complete the training in higher education.
The rector of the UPCT Jose Antonio Franco, accompanied by the Vice President for Information Technology and Communications, Juan Luis Pedroza and Vice Chancellor for Student and University Extension, Francisco Martínez, presided over the ceremony of credentials which have attended on behalf of the bank Santander Universities director, José María García de los Ríos and the director of University Offices of Santander, Elysabet Pacios.
Franco recalled that the cooperation agreement between Santander UPCT and finances part of the outreach and research that develop in college, and wanted to emphasize that these scholarships complete the curriculum for students who enjoy because they are a very important contribution to gaining access to employment.
For his part, Director of Santander Universities has commented that the granting of these scholarships are the most important social project that the organization carries out, with an investment of 70 million euros, as "the difficult scenario makes it worthwhile bet on the young. "
He also thanked the scholarship students made efforts and expressed confidence that they enter the labor market in the best possible conditions.
