Seventy students from the Polytechnic University of Cartagena (UPCT) were presented this morning at the entrance exams for the three training grants in the technology company MTorres.
The company is looking for students in their final years of industrial engineering and Telecommunications, a project to develop knowledge in the areas of automation and robotics.
"Through these grants the company tries to channel the talent to the company, a process in which the student gains experience and training in addition to that there is the possibility that it becomes part of the staff of the company by developing your work satisfactorily, "adds Maria Eugenia Garcia, head of the Department of Human Resources MTorres Fuente Álamo.
This first selection phase, held today at the School of Industrial, has been based on a psycho test and collecting resumes.
"In this first batch a group of candidates to be interviewed will be selected.
Hence the three fellows will come looking, "said María Eugenia García.
Award
In addition to these grants, the chair of MTorres also convenes an award for the best Final Year Project as prizes two annual scholarships.
And the company will maintain the usual incorporation of engineers UPCT at its factory in Fuente Alamo, in which most workers come from the Polytechnic University of Cartagena.
The MTorres-UPCT Chair is part of the Network Technology Chairs of the Technical University of Cartagena, which premieres next month the Laboratory Building, Teaching and Research (ELDI).
