The Agency for Local Development and Employment collaborate with Children Schools City of Cartagena adapting green areas and recreation of a total of eight Municipal Day, and this will be done through occupational Gardening Workshop-Urban Gardens which, framed in Barrios ALDE, program begins on Monday 24th February with initial training to be carried out on site Quarrying Occupational Center.
The 8 students in this workshop, selected from a total of 30 applications will receive both theoretical and practical techniques of basic operations in garden centers, basic operations for installation of gardens and parkland training, and basic operations for maintenance gardens and parkland and maintenance of ecological design and thefts.
The course will run for 300 hours, ending on May 23, and eight students are unemployed over 25 years with basic knowledge of gardening, since the objective of this training is that participants can extend that knowledge and thus facilitate their reintegration into the labor market.
Once successfully completed the workshop, is scheduled to perform work placements.
