The Rector of the Polytechnic University of Cartagena, Jose Antonio Franco, alongside the Chancellor's team and directors of centers and departments today visited the headquarters of the Maritime Action Force.
On arrival they were received by Admiral Maritime Action (almart), Salvador Moreno Maria Delgado.
Those responsible UPCT attended a presentation on the Maritime Action Force and visited the Operations Center and Maritime Surveillance Action (COVAM), where the Chief Staff of the FAM, Captain Pedro de la Puente García- Ganges, made a brief presentation on the concept of "Maritime Security" in the Navy and the operation and functions of the COVAM.
The COVAM the almart is the nerve center of the Maritime Action Force where he receives and analyzes all information relating to the maritime areas of interest to know in real time what is happening in these areas and to provide and maintain security Ships traveling through our area of ​​influence, this service is paid not only to the Navy but also other sectors of the maritime community.
