Local musicians interested in participating in the Fourth Test Cartagena La Cantera have until Monday February 24 to sign up.
The Youth Council organizes this activity helps young music lovers of the municipality to be able to have a space to rehearse.
Up to 24 bands and performers may make their trials in which no suitable premises on the ground floor of the Youth Center Quarry, located on Main Street, thanks to an agreement made ​​by Youth and association 2A + D.
Registrations can be made ​​at the Department of Youth or email marchaarte@ayto-cartagena.es . They may access this call, individually or in the form of groups, all born in Cartagena, regardless of age and all residents in the town during 2013-2014.
This initiative provides a municipal service to the need for musicians born or living in Cartagena have access to a suitable space in which they can carry out their musical interests, and to encourage and provoke the synergy and relationship between young people of the village.
To do this, five local test available, one for pop-rock, hip-hop to another and three soloists or groups, as well as a recording studio and a multipurpose room. Between March and June, participants will use these rooms, explained during his presentation as the Councillor for Youth, Ruth Collins, who highlighted the variety of forms that are available for different bands.
Each group will have a bonus equivalent to 24 hours of renting these premises free trial of the quarry, laboratory of artistic production.
In all, a total of 480 hours will be distributed to the groups participating in this call.
