Senior Program of Department of Social Services continues the conference cycle course A walk through the history and traditions of our city, which today has been dedicated to the traditional games.
The conference, entitled Roma Veniant Omne Ludus (All Games come from Roma), has been on traditional games in the region of Cartagena, as caliche, or bowling alley, its evolution, development and how these relate with other games in the rest of the peninsula and changes since its birth in Rome.
Responsible for giving birth to this issue has been Castañón Francisco José Iglesias, a graduate in Geography and History with a specialization in History of Spain, and later pursued graduate studies in historical archeology.
