The mayor, Pilar Barreiro, opens tonight, at 21.30 hours, the enlargement of the House of Folklore of La Palma.
This Sunday there will be an open house for anyone who wants to visit the facilities.
This expansion has taken out the Folk Group Palma on an adjoining area to the house, 170 square meters, held by a few blocks from the late nineteenth century next to a winery, a space that now serve as multipurpose room and will expand the range of activities throughout the year organized by the Group.
Although the official opening is tonight, on this Sunday, February 9, has scheduled an open house for the entire general public from 11.00 to 13.00 hours, which is displayed attendees how enlargement has been to be children's workshops and games and other activities for youngsters.
Upcoming events to be held in the House of Folklore, already counting on the new space will be the National Competition Saetas, held this February, and programming Café Cantante, which runs along the March.
