The First Circuit Chess Lapuerta CDA, with the collaboration of the Department of Youth of the City of Cartagena, started last Sunday in the Youth Center Quarries with the first test mode intercenter.
Nearly a hundred kids participated in this championship that will be held throughout the school year at different centers.
In Sunday's attended 77 small: in category A, 6 and 7 years, participated 19 players, in B, of 10 and 11 years, 32 players, and the C, 12 to 16, 26.
Joan Sanmartin CA Mar Menor was small which was the first in the category A with a crushing 6 points out of 6 possible.
Second place with 5 points was Carlos Molina, Blanca, and the third, Aedan Santos, Los Alcazares, with 4 points.
In category B, formed by the sub-10, the winner was Adrian Cañavate unionense CDA follows with 5.5 points in his line of progress.
Second place was also lapuertano Eduardo Font with 4.5 points and third place was the player of Los Alcazares Daniel Arena also with 4.5 points.
As for the C category, which includes the sub-12, U-14 and U-16, the brilliant winner was Ricardo Torralba lapuertano with 5.5 points, who has done a great tournament.
Second place was Aaron Alonso, CDA also Lapuerta, with 5 points.
Third place was also lapuertana Quiñonero Mary, also with 5 points.
The next meeting will be on Sunday February 16 at the College of the trough in order to compete in the second of the eight rounds of the championship.
Miralmonte centers (Santa Ana), Our Lady of Sorrows, Our Lady of Begoña, José M ª Lapuerta and Los Molinos Institute will be next.
To be eligible for prizes and gifts end of the circuit, you must participate in at least six of the eight tests consisting of the circuit.
The final classification of the circuit shall sum the six best results from the different tests consisting of the circuit.
