The ADE program (Approach to Sport à ‰ lite) of the Department of Sports, arrived yesterday at Colegio San Fulgencio de Pozo Strait with a meeting of the students of Primary and Athletics clubs Elcano and UCAM Cartagena.
Several players and monitors both teams did not want to miss this meeting.
By the UCAM Cartagena, participated in this conference athletes Guardiola and Vicente Alberto Ferre r, and Athletics Club Elcano, its chairman Alfredo did Castilla and monitors Toni López and Alberto Urrea.
Thus, children became young professional athletes for a few hours through this encounter.
The event was part of a theoretical and practical part.
At first, the kids were treated to a screening of videos, one to see great athletes and one on the beginnings and adaptation for introducing children to athletics.
There have been questions from the little ones, that curious, dared to question them about their beginnings, or preparing food, among others.
They also taught the players exposed posters and murals on the walls of the classroom on them in surprise and gratitude of athletes.
In the second part, the students have been practicing on their own tests adapted to the approach to athletics, such as speed, jumping, throwing and relay patio.
All students had the opportunity to participate and athletics, with the particularity of having done in your school.
This activity continues in the line of the Sports Department of bringing the sport to schools in districts of the municipality who have difficulty getting around the city to do sports. Colleges Albujón, and Pozo Aljorra Strait have been the first to conduct and participate in this municipal initiative.
The ADE program is organized by the Sports Department of Cartagena and has the support of the Directorate General of Sports of the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia, the Association of Graduates of Physical Education and Sports of the Region of Murcia.
